I wish I was in Australia! I’m in the U.S. though.
the moment you start listing animals on coins there is one that has a lion and says New Pence 10 I hve that coin as well is it worth anything?
The smallest coin that I know of is the Russian 1 Kopek, it’s ridiculously small. I have quite a bit more foreign coins than you, but I’m envious of your US coins! I’ve got coins fron Bhutan, Mexico, Costa Rica, India, Pakistan, Territory of Muscat and Oman, China, Egypt, Netherlands, Great Britain, Canada, Switzerland, Israel, Russia, Japan, Germany, France, paper money from Italy, and then some Euros
I have a coin collection that is about the same size as yours
i was recently given a box of coins and i was looking through each coin and checking it up to the coin book, and of about 200 german 1 pfennig coins from the nazi era i found one released in 1945 that were the swastika should have been under the eaagle there wasnt one. (it turned out to be worth around 100 euros =)
um that one with the lion on it is our uk 10 penny. i think (im not realy sure) the small one on the left is a 5 penny.
I don’t know if true, but it sounds right, I was told by a South African friend that the coins with holes in the middle are to make it easier for the indigenous people to keep there coins on a string around their neck, as their usual garb, what they wear has no pockets if so, it’s a good idea imo.
Folks you know about the NZD on the stock exchange now.Pick up a New York times sometimes.
The NZ Dollar has been raising for the the last 7 months.
NZ has a new Chancellor john keys
NZ former Chancellor Helen Clark is now in the U.N.
THe NZD is at 63 cent still cheap enough for the Average American.
haha a cnd toonie…lol u should have the cnd 2 dollar bill..thats worth more..the toonie just came out like not that long ago…
I never really got into paper money, although I do have a few older U.S. bills. The way I see it is that lets say the dollar went down in value, if you have a silver or gold coin, it will be worth more than current dollar value anyways, so it won’t really hurt its value, as paper is simply that, paper. I love collecting those Canadian poppy quarters, I don’t come across them often however
(
i have a 1903 first cent candana coin its over 100 years old you thing it worth in canada please ppl tell me
the reasons that those ones have holes in them is because back then they used to carry their money around their neck like a necklace
Did you call the animal on the Canadian nickel a gopher? (It’s a beaver), Or was that some other coin I couldn’t see?
because of your videos I got an urge to go trough the old jar of money my grandfather gave me 10 years ago..
oldest coin I’ve found yet is a norwegian 1 krone from 1875, and most valuable is a norwegain 5 øre (cent) from 1878 valued at about 450$
other cool coins is a french franc from 1943 witch is so light it floats on water(!), canadian 5 cent from 1912, german 5 pennig from 1940 with swastika on it, and 1 cent american from 1935… also found 2×1000 german mark bills from 1922
